uncrushable DETECTION

SID

SID in different means of transport

Patented technology is available for the detection of uncrushables in different means of transportation, such as trucks; at the origin, at the extraction point, in the bucket of the shovel or front loader, and in conveyor belts.

SID in APRON FEEDER

The Uncrushable Detection System (SID by its acronym in Spanish) in Apron Feeder is a scanner based on electromagnetic waves using high‑resolution ore penetration radars. It monitors the ore transported by an Apron Feeder to detect hidden uncrushable metallic elements that could block the primary crusher when the ore is discharged into it.

The SID system in Apron Feeder performs real‑time monitoring and alerts the feeder operator when it detects the presence of a hidden uncrushable element within the ore load.

  • Non-intrusive installation.
  • Volumetric scanning of the ore.
  • Detection of non-triturable elements such as: wire mesh, fortification rings, rails and others.
  • Alerting the operator of positive detection by visual and/or audible alarms.
  • Remote monitoring from the web.
  • Display of system operation status signals.
  • Display of alarm signals.
  • Visual display of positive detection of non-triturable elements.
  • Historical log of events.
